Google Announces $10 million Android Developer Challenge

Google are going to give away $10 million in awards to developers who make the best applications on their Android mobile platform. At first the 50 best entrants to the awards will take away $25,000, they will then be able to compete to win ten $275,000 awards or ten $100,000 awards. [click to continue...]

Android Mobile from Google - is this the Future?

So Google announced their new mobile venture on November 5th,  Android, which will deliver complete software for mobile devices and allow new applications to be created by developers. 

The great thing about Android is that it is open source so it allows developers to create new and exciting applications using all kinds of innovative ideas.  Mobile phones will become less about the handsets and more about the applications that are being developed for them. [click to continue...]
