Android Gains a new Competitor-the Symbian Platform

Nokia has announced that it will buy the shares of Symbian Limited that it doesn’t own and make it an Open Source platform that is free.  The Symbian software was started by Eriicsson, Motorola and Nokia in 1998 and has become a dominant platform to date because of the success of Nokia who currently use it.

Android Mobile Delayed

It looks like the stories of Android being released sooner than we had expected are probably just that- stories.  The WSJ is reporting that Android handsets will be delayed and won’t be released until right at the end of the year, later than many had hoped.

Android Mobile is the Future, Use Your Time Now Wisely

The internet is becoming mobile and Android will help push this to the next stage. iPhones are great because of the ease of browsing online. Google is betting on Android to get more people online via their mobiles and to do a lot more of their searching on a mobile device.

T-Mobile Plans to Release Android Phones in July?

A thread on the Android Mobile Forum says that people at T-Mobile are saying that Android mobiles will be out next month.  Now I know that this isn’t official but it is at least some evidence that things may happen soon.

Google Android is Previewed
