The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved a new mobile phone from HTC called the Dream which is believed to be the first to be powered by Android.
Indications are that we can expect this Android release in the fourth quarter, which to be fair is what Google have said all along.
With the release of the new SDK things are starting to move from the consumers perspective. I imagine that behind the scenes things have been moving for quite some time.
